Sometimes I'm just amazed. There's no other word for it. The Invisible Hand was uploaded six hours ago, and not only is it live but it also has sales.
I am genuinely stunned.
I remember waiting for a year just to hear that a publisher wasn't interested. Then another year for a 'hmmmm, not sure' and so on and so forth. Six hours from done to sales. Really, that is utterly amazing. Would be remiss if I don't pass a word of thanks to Amazon. Would be a fool if I didn't say a word of thanks to the readers. I can only hope I continue to write work that you enjoy.
I had to laugh. I know your feeling exactly. I spent years upon years with nibbles here and there, delays, verbal commitments that were eventually squashed, etc., etc.
